In my line of work, I deal with lots of numbers and Microsoft Excel is basically my second wife. 🤣 So believe me when I say that numbers don’t lie. In my post today, I share the key stats that were tracked so we know how the WOO campaign is doing. To be honest, you don’t need fancy tools. Just a quick check of these five metrics will be more than sufficient.

• Comment Count

  • Shows how many fans are engaged.
  • Focus on the first five days.
  • As it is in any form of news, the more people talk about it, the more you know it has gotten their attention.

• Reblog Count

  • Tells how far our message spreads.
  • More reblogs mean more new eyes.
  • I think of this like a virus spreading, albeit in a good way. If it manages to multiply, the reach can easily go viral and both WOO and HIVE will become the talk of the world!

• View Count

  • Gives a sense of interest level.
  • Spikes after each big share.
  • This is important to check how much people actually clicked on it, and it also serves to attract other curious people to do likewise.

• Vote Total on TheDappList

  • Our rank changes in real time.
  • Watch for jumps after group pushes.
  • Well, this is self explanatory. If it works, we should be seeing WOO's rank go up.

• Chat Activity on Discord

  • Messages per minute during announcements.
  • Shows when fans are most active.
  • Discord communities build long term "sticky" fans in my opinion. No man is an island and humans naturally crave a community.

I actually do keep an eye on these stats semi regularly. It’s like watching the score in a game and helps me know when to call in backup. Keep an eye on these five numbers. They’ll tell you exactly how we’re doing and when to rally the troops.
