WOO-hoo! Sabu Uncovers The Ultimate Warrior's Vegas Debacle!

It's time for another one of Sabu's interviews with WSI. This time round, Sabu talks about the legendary Ultimate Warrior and his stint in Vegas! For the time starved, yours truly is here again (as usual) to do my best to provide a quick point form summary! 😉

• Ultimate Warrior's Vegas Venture:
  • The Ultimate Warrior wasn't initially part of the same company but eventually bought into it.
  • His involvement marked a significant downturn for the promotion.

• Backstage Drama:
  • Allegedly, the Ultimate Warrior took off with the show's money, leaving the promotion high and dry.
  • There were rumors that he was upset because his name wasn't as prominently featured as other wrestlers, possibly due to the length of his name.

• No Shows and Non-Promotions:
  • Warrior was notorious for not showing up to promote the events he was supposed to be a part of.
  • Despite plans, he never actually wrestled for the promotion.

• Sabu's Experience:
  • He wrestled monthly for a year and never shared a show with him.
  • There were plans for him to wrestle, possibly in May, but he never did.
  • NW sin shows had a regular schedule, and he was part of every one, yet the Warrior was always missing in action.

Well, as we can see here, The Ultimate Warrior's brief and tumultuous involvement in the Vegas wrestling scene is a classic example of backstage politics and the unpredictability of wrestling promotions. This is why frank interviews from former wrestlers who are ready to bare it all are the BEST in my opinion! 🤣
