1st post in Liketu, and 1st time at the Gun Range for me.
Whats up people of Liketu, thought would be cool to post somewhere that i havent posted yet. The community here really seems to be having fun, and isnt life about having some fun anyways.
Ive taken a break from the excessive hours at work, and made some contact with friends. I was invited to do an outing at the Gun Range, to shoot some ammo at targets.
Even though the idea of guns is controversial, i have actually never even shot before, and the U.S has a bad rep, with all the violence that has been going on. But, whatever, not trying to get too political either, trying to have some fun, a reminder to myself.
We got a 30 minute timer, and used up for target things. Its quite a powerful jolt, with every bullet, almost a little scary. Using hearing protection of course.
Afterwards, my friend took a picture of us both.
Kinda wish i took a picture of my meal afterwards, we hit up a spot called Millers Ale House but heres a picture of the night before when i was hanging out with 2 of my former colleagues. 2 nice ladies that ive known for a while. At a spot called Rock Bottom.
So anyways, i hope this post is somewhat Likutu friendly, if not i suppose ill find out. But i do hope that everyone here in Hive is doing well, and enjoying the weekend. In good health, and in the presence of good people.

That sucks - I have found it challenging to find a public range. I could certainly just squeeze off a few in the woods but I still feel weird about that lol
Yeah. I have gotten into shooting sporting clays this winter and that has been fun too. !PIZZA You can do that outside at our outdoor range. The old timers that run it don't gop home even when it snows.

I’m glad you got to visit the range! It’s a great thing and hopefully you are going to go back some time. Try some different ones unless your friend is the one who owns the gun. It’s an important thing to own though - you never want to use one but if the situation arises, it’s good to know.
My buddy has 2 of em. Forgot what kind tbh, glock 9mm, and the other just slightly bigger. I would like sooner or later but man, they kind of expensive. What a powerful punch. Thanks for stopping by man.

They can be expensive but you can get a .22 pistol, those are cheaper and the ammo is a hell of a lot cheaper too! It won’t take down a bear but it’ll do the job if you empty a bunch in something lol. It’s a good beginner gun though - easy to shoot, cheap and cheap ammo. Then you can upgrade later!
It’s been too long since I’ve been to the range, I want to go soon! Just need a day off so I can hang out for a few hours haha

I don’t think there is a range here in Nigeria but it is something I’d love to do
Maybe one day. It takes a lot to have a place like that, almost felt strange, but i felt safe with many like minded people. Its like a sport, or skill.

It's understandable that using a gun at a gun range can be seen as a enjoyable activity. Engaging in shooting sports or target practice at a gun range is a way for enthusiasts to practice their skills in a controlled and safe environment.
