It is said that this photo was taken in 1997 somewhere in northern Romania, but I can't find the real source of the photo. I'm still trying to decide if this was a reality or a movie set.

Well, I know where this place is and the steam locomotive you see in the picture(maybe not exactly the same one) is still running pulling behind a few wagons, for tourists.

A wood fired steam train, that would be so awesome to ride this train!!! Years ago we had a model train store! In Colorado we got the chance to ride the Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad in Chama New Mexico. It was a coal fired steem train, lot's of fun!🤗

There is a similar train in my part of the country as well and they use coals, not sure why they decided to use wood in this one.
