Weekly Silver Report

Before, I get into the very monotonous charts that are the silver market as of late, I must confess a caught a little case of stackitus. You know that urge just buy another ounce of silver to the stack.

In fact, this particular bout with the dreaded disease was actually quite strong. I got in my car yesterday to run a few errands and without even realizing my car was suddenly parked way off my scheduled route in the parking lot of my local coin store.

Yes doc! It is a very common symptom. You head in one direction and without even realizing you end up miles off course in place you never intended.

I started to look around for the coin that spoke to me.

Well technically speaking, I did not "say" coins speak to me, I "typed" that the coins speak to me. :)

And yes certain coins do speak and this particular coin spoke to me BECAUSE I am feeling a tad bit mutinous these days.

Enough of my recent illness.

Silver remains in a DOWNTREND on the daily charts.

A DOWNTREND is defined as a series of LOWER LOWS and LOWER HIGHS.

Nothing very encouraging on the charts to report today.

I keep trying to explain it is a sickness, a disease, an illness. I swear I am not making it up!

You have wonder about the diagnostic prowess of medical profession these days.

I paid $6 over spot for the coin.

The real sticker shock for me was the price of Morgan Dollars that the store was selling for $35 per coin! Seems that demand for Morgan Dollars is rather high given that these coins are selling way above American Silver Eagles and for less silver content.
