MemeHive Week 27: Winners, Rewards, and Powered-Up Fun!

Another week to combine both the judging period and the winner announcement. I don't want to sound apologetic, but my lack of sleep, pressure at work, and other personal concerns affect my discipline and schedule, and that includes posting on Hive.

Anyhow, it's time to present the winners for this week's MemeHive Curation Contest.

The first eligible article is from @princessluv. In her post, she talks about the beauty of individual personality. We have to learn to accept our uniqueness with our imperfections. I think that's the only way we can be liberated from unnecessary insecurities because of comparing ourselves with others. And I think that's a better way to live.

Her post got 32 upvotes and 3 comments.

The second article is from @marajah. Her story is about the recovery of her mom. It is refreshing to read a story like this—a daughter's love for her mother. How I wish children wouldn't take time for granted while their parents are still alive. Appreciate them, thank them, and enjoy their company while they are still with you.

Her post received 243 upvotes and 3 comments.

The third article is from @ladyaryastark. I love her theme. It is about freedom of expression. In a world where centralization and totalitarian control remain the dream of those who want to rule our lives, banning social networks for whatever alibis they promote would, at the end of the day, mean the death of freedom.

She got 2 reblogs, 102 likes, and 14 comments.

The fourth article is somehow related to the previous one, but in a different way. It is unusual to see an incumbent politician being consistently attacked by both the academe and the media. In our time, anything pro-right is demonized, and that is why it is not easy to publish articles portraying a positive image of Donald Trump.

@melrod97's post receives 10 likes.

The last, but not least, is from @valchiz. The post discussed the decline of social media's original intent. I could say this is one example of the misuse of freedom of expression. His article reminds me of a dating app like Tagged or Friendster, where uploading nudes was the norm.

His post got 235 likes.
