Entry for the Shadow Contest/SMASh. -Show Me A Shadow - Round 332 - Saw this shadow while drinking my coffee.

Earlier, by chance, I caught sight of a shadow. I don't often see this shadow in our house because I usually pass by this area after 12 o'clock when it no longer casts a shadow. But earlier, I decided to have coffee on this side of our house, so I saw it.

The shadow disappears when clouds pass by.

This shadow comes from the grills in the back area of our house, which leads to the backyard.

Our house is open-air at the back to keep it breezy. I designed it this way so it wouldn't be dark in the morning and to ensure good airflow inside our home.

When there's a storm, strong winds come in through this area, but since it's just an empty space after the gate, it's like an indoor backyard where you can do various things.

Since it's a covered area, we also do our laundry here.

Because I rarely go outside, and when I do, the sun has usually already set, I'm always delighted when I see a shadow. It's very hot here, and if you go out while the sun is still shining, you'll sweat a lot and your skin will burn. Haha!
