The Day Everything Went Wrong

On January 30, it seemed like a series of unfortunate events unfolded for me. First, around 9 p.m., my wife and I had a disagreement, which irritated me.

Later, when I was lying down, my reading eyeglasses broke, maybe its because it was just a cheap pair made of plastic.

Around 11 p.m., I decided to order food online as a peace offering to my temperamental wife. When the delivery arrived, the driver called me on my phone, which I had casually tucked into my hoodie pocket before going out.

I grabbed the food and as I was closing the gate, my phone fell from my pocket, and the screen cracked. This phone had been with me for six years and had survived multiple falls, but this time it gave in.

Ironically, it wasn't bad luck that led to this story but rather the replacement phone I bought.

The next day, I reluctantly decided to buy a new phone. While I initially considered getting a basic and inexpensive analog phone, I realized the importance of having a smartphone in today's world. I needed it for messages from clients on social media, my electronic wallet, and booking services like Grab car and Lalamove delivery.

I opted for a Samsung, as my previous experiences with their phones had proven their durability. I scoured the mall for an affordable option and found a Samsung priced at 5600. Thinking it was acceptable, I continued looking for cheaper options. I wasn't aiming for anything fancy because I knew it would be expensive.

However, I entered a cellphone shop, and the salesman offered me a Vivo phone for 5900, slightly more expensive than the Samsung. Upon comparing the features and specs, the Vivo seemed to outshine the 5600 Samsung.

I decided to purchase the Vivo, and another factor that influenced my decision was the option for a 3-month installment payment, which my card allowed.

So now I have a new phone. This morning, I tested its camera and was pleased with the results,clear and vivid pictures.

Here are some pictures I took using my new phone. I haven't fully evaluated the phone yet, as it's only been a day, but regarding the camera lens, I can say it's impressive for its price.
