My Actifit Report Card: April 13 2024 || Alive Thriving Saturday || Visit To The Waterfall

Great actifitters greetings to you all. Hope you had a wonderful day in your actifit fitness walk. Mine was splendid.

Since yesterday evening I travel to Ini Local government area of Akwa Ibom State for the traditional marriage of Enietimfon, a Christian sister associating with us at Uyo.

This morning the preparation commences as we work to put things in place.

After satisfyingly put things in places, me and my friends that we went with decided to talk a walk round the immediate environment

We also decided go to the stream to take our bath and also see the environment the more. So we ask someone if there is a stream nearby, and we were told that it is just some distance away, but we should get ready to do more of hiking.

On getting to the entrance of the slope that leads to the water, one or two persons amongst us entertain fear on how the path looks scary.

We agree to give a try, and we descended down the curvy stairs caft from the soil and looking sleepily.

Gradually we continue to descend down and down the creek.

Two guys among us actually turn back and prefer to wait for us at the top.

We finally made it down and then walk on some muddy portions. We could hear the sound of water fall from the rock in a distance so we ead towards that direction.

Finally we found one of the opening where the water keeps dropping.

The guys decided to do justice to the fall by pulling off the clothes and take a bath.

Waoh, the experience was nice, at least one of a life time in such a small village where we never thought of seeing such a wonder.

After satisfying ourselves with the bath, it was now time to hike back the mountain.

So the journey commence upward.

At the end, we made it up to the mountain, breathing profusely as unprofessional hikers.

We have made it to the top

Now is time to head back to the marriage venue at Mbiabong Ikot Udo, Ini Local Government.

What an adventure and a thrilling experience in the course of my fitness health walk that keeps my heart pumping like tomorrow will not come.

I most say, traveling and see is really part of education. How I wish we are not returning to Uyo local government today, I would have love to visit to fall again tomorrow.

The marriage ended socessfully even though my phone battery got low and the phone went off thereby couldn't take the pictures of the marriage proceedings thereafter.

We have so far return to Uyo where I charge my phone a bit to put up this actifit report card.
