Dis' is da' way! Wut most of us do. Me froggie saved sum. May be easier wen much moar are out and available with our bigger public release. ALthough opening packs and leveling up frogs is fun!

Regarding using #PEPE $PEPE token in the Battle Card game -

I think it would be good to use PEPE tokens for both purchases and rewards. Rewarding in PEPE is the easier of the two. Using it for purchases is trickier.

This is due to its volatility and low liquidity. I think it is good to require purchases to be at something representing a uniform USD value. We don't want the price of assets swinging as much as the price of PEPE, in my opinion. So purchasing with #HBD or something pegged to HBD such as VOLTs is how we do it now and how we may do it first when the game spins off to it's own website.

In MetaRobots we sell Multipliers which can be used to multiply one Hive Candy reward. Hive Candy gives HIVE so we price the Multipliers based on the current price of HIVE as obtained from the coingecko API. HIVE varies in price too, but not as much as PEPE. And the liquidity is higher so a small transaction doesn't move the price like it sometimes does on PEPE.

Hive-engine also has an API where I can get data on Last Price of a token, as well as some historical transaction data. I need to experiment a bit with that (and already have to a small degree) to see if purchasing with PEPE can be done fairly for both sides of any transactions.

That's my current thinking on that! :)

Regarding liquidity. Larger buy and sell order walls can be put in place fer a steadier price. With the game's release and sales we'll have moar demand and utility being introduced. Within time the PEPE:HIVE pool will be created too.

Agreeing best to start with HBD and having prices stable.

If rewarding in PEPE is easier then let's go with that. Just thinking sum HBD rewards in time will be good because of higher use value.

With PEPE may be best to not use current price but an average of last X transactions or days.
