Bubbles. Crypto bubbles and other investment bubbles don't even compare to the Tulip bubble the greatest bubble of all.
Tulip bulbs mostly traded like most any other flower bulb and priced as such. However in the 1600's there came about a tulip mania bubble craze. Rare Tulip bulbs were being valued at houses and not just even any house, even that of high-end houses fer deez high end tulip bulbs. Thus resulting in da great Tulip (bulb) crash! This were to sum Dutch people as frogs had not yet ventured into such kin at dis time. Da tulip bulbs high class resulted from deez Ottoman empire imports of deez special and ever becoming known as rare Tulip bulbs. Dis made 1636 da year of da Tulip! With bulbs valued fer whole houses! Followed by one of, if not the greatest market crash of all time into 1637 wen Tulip bulbs returned to normal price levels and may have been ever since.

The PEPE chart is looking very reasonable, no bubbles to be seen lately.
RPEPE had that big spike, but on low volume. There's just not that many RPEPE out there. Most of it is in one account's hands, and that account has no plans to sell. :)

Indeedy, quite true! I don't know the species or varieties back then, but most modern tulips are rather complex hybrids, but even those aren't particularly expensive. Plant collectors can sometimes go a bit overboard! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
