Wasp and Paraglider (fable)

Wasp and Paraglider

In the meadow where flowers bloom in spring,
There lived Wasp, rustling with transparent wings.
She was very agile and incredibly fast,
She flew among flowers like rocket.

Paraglider floated smoothly in air,
Flying high, as if competing with clouds.
Paraglider was light and agile, like dream,
Inspired by freedom of sky and winds.

One day Wasp and Paraglider met in sky,
Where sun shone dazzlingly bright.

Wasp said: "You fly among clouds,
Like bird in the air, joyfully and freely!"

Paraglider replied: "Little Wasp,
You fly the same way, feeling wind in wings.
Each of us finds our way in the sky,
This is our freedom and beauty."

"You’re right, Paraglider, you and I both fly.
I just wanted to start casual conversation
So that creatures, crawling on ground, feel their insignificance,
But you prevented me from developing this topic."

"I did it deliberately, dear Wasp,
So that you don't humiliate creeping creatures.
They are also alive, god created them for some purpose."

"I think you’re right, - answered Wasp. - They are alive too,
And they also have some purpose in their miserable life,
Although I have no idea what this purpose is."

Wasp laughed cheerfully, and Paraglider laughed too.
Having said goodbye, they flew in different directions,
And so question about meaning of human existence
Remained unresolved.
Again.

The original text was written by me in Russian. I haven't studied English systematically, so translation may not be ideal. The main work was done by Google Translate, I just corrected obvious absurdities, where I noticed them and where I did not confuse them with brilliant insights.
