A Day in the Life of a TikTok Affiliate Mom: Juggling Baby Duties and Side Hustles

Today, I managed to find some spare time to work on my affiliate side hustle on TikTok. I've been promoting items there to earn commissions.

What I promoted were the earrings and necklace I'm wearing in the picture, which are free samples from a TikTok shop. But in exchange for getting them for free, you have to create a promotional video.

That's the reason why I put on makeup, even just a little. Hahaha! Of course, we need to look good in the video.

Affiliating with the TikTok Shop is okay, I manage to sell and earn commissions. Sometimes it really depends on what you're promoting if the price and item are good.

After I finished making the live video, I removed my makeup because I still have to take care of my baby. Hahaha!!! I don't want the baby accidentally getting makeup on, or worse, having an allergic reaction.

I had my husband take care of the baby while I was making the video because it's been a while since I received this free sample, and it would be embarrassing to keep the seller waiting for a few more days.

We have an extra room in the house that no one is using, so we decided to renovate it and turn it into a small studio where my husband and I can make videos without disturbing anyone else in the house. Right now, we're still in the process of renovating it because we're doing it ourselves. Hopefully, we'll finish it this month.

We can't just do the videos in our room because it might disturb the baby's sleep, and it's also hard to focus on shooting.

So I'm happy now because aside from being a mommy, which is my daily task, I was able to fulfill my other obligations that I really enjoy doing because affiliating with online products has helped me a lot.
