Today's story is about a wise man who made the best financial decision anyone can make which secured him in his old age. Indeed he made a plan for retirement.

Please sit back and enjoy the story or tale of wisdom.

LET'S READ THE STORY

Once upon a time in a small and dashing village lived a young and promising man named Samuel. Throughout the entire village Samuel was well known to be a very hard working and prudent man. His mantra and slogan was frugality. Whatever he earned from his work, he would save it up nicely and protect very well.

He was a man that truly believed in the principles of wealth and savings. Samuel worked as a farmer on a land that he had received from his family as an inheritance. This land had been in the family for ages passed on from person to person.

Now years passed and Samuel was still working on the land seriously. He had increased his incomes a bit and had the desire to work even harder.

He noticed something that was going on in the village. He noticed that as the years went by, some of the people in the village started struggling as they grew older. He was able to observe the life of his fellow villagers that were a bit older than him and noticed it.

He noticed that their very strong and healthy body was starting to grow weaker. They could not work as hard as they used to. This made them less productive and poorer. Age had taken all the energy and strength away with it.

The biggest problem he noticed about the people was that they were weaker but had almost no savings to depend on.

Now this made Samuel realize how good his frugal and saving habit was. He knew that his future and old age will never look anything like his fellow old villagers.

Samuel really understood the true value of saving potions of his earnings and also labouring harder while he was yet young. He was really inspired to work twice as hard as he was already working and looked for any money advice he could get.

He knew the true value in planning for the future. Indeed the wisdom of the Ant is a timeless one said Samuel.

Samuel would save a good potion of every money he would make from his work. One strategy he kept very well was to set aside not less than 40 percent of every income gotten from his hard work.

You know the thing with ignorance is that there are severe consequences. Samuel's friends would tease Samuel for saving so much rather than living large. They would also mock him for being a frugal person not knowing that frugality is one of the ways of the wealthy.

You need to respect the little money to have bigger ones.

Samuel's friends looked rich because they spent almost all their moneys on clothes, jewels and parties and Samuel looked simple.

So there are those that look rich and those that are rich

Samuel's friends looked rich, Samuel was richer.

While his friends mocked and teased him, he didn't sweat it because he knew his future will be very different for those friends. He knew that his savings and hard work with frugality will handle his old age. He knew that there will be a time when his friends would not have the strength to work and keep making all that money. They will need to start depending on reserves which they were not creating.

Samuel didn't just save, but he invested. He also understood the nature of the economy. Inflation will cause the price of things to increase or the value of their money to reduce so he needed to have a lot of streams of income. He worked very hard until he was able to expand the farmlands.

As more years passed, It was clear and obvious even when Samuel and his friends were in their mid years, Samuel had a lot of assets. He had so much money he could now spend just like his friends but the difference is that, it didn't take much from him. His friends would use 80 percent of their monthly income to do something that Samuel would need just 2 percent of his income to do.

Samuel was indeed secured and wealthy. His friends started struggling to keep up. Even at this point, Samuel still sought advice from the wise old men of the village that had succeeded. The old rich men of the village respected Samuel because they knew a wise young man when they saw one.

He sought Wisdom on how to prepare for his retirement. He was taught by the wise old rich men of the village on the importance of diversifying his investment. Samuel only had the farm business which of course was a huge one but he learned wisdom quickly and started making different products, clothes, baskets and many different businesses.

He knew that if he stuck to only farming and something happened to that industry, he would be in trouble. That was the wisdom he got from the wise old men.

As more years passed, Samuel grew older and reduced in physical strength. Well that had no impact on his business because he had become so rich that he could employ young men to run the business for him. Samuel became the richest man in his village and didn't have to do any labor at all.

He looked over to his friends and realized the reality of not learning the wisdom of wealth early. The friends that once mocked him were now very miserable and would need to beg him for bread.

That was the tale of the wise man Samuel. The entire village learned a valuable lesson on forming a good financial plan for your future. Your youthful energy and strength will not always be there. You need a retirement plan that will support you in the days when you can no longer work with your hands.

I truly hope you were inspired by this story. The moral behind the story is pretty obvious guys. Let's prepare for the future as the Ants prepare for a rainy day. It's good to save a portion of your incomes and invest it into a business that will always give you passive incomes.

Thanks for taking the time to read my blog post today guys. I am really looking forward to your feedback. Have a lovely day. Bye❤️
