Thanks again for this Ecency Points giveaway.

I'm not sure what the minimum word count is for a CTP-tippable comment. But here's hoping…

I wasn't even aware there was a minimum word-count required! Good and current info is so hard to find... 😓

I'm not certain how aware of the minimum any of us are supposed to be. So I keep mentioning it to try and get some clarity. Because all I have for now is…

Hasn't stopped as far as I know. We have a 'sneaky' minimum of words that have to be in a comment before it's activated though.

You know, I used to get really frustrated by the lack of clarity on Hive. Such as a "How To…" manual. But now I realise that it's just part of the game. If you don't know something, just ask. Especially now we have Threads. Or, like me, have fun with suggestively unclear comments - then see what turns up. Either way, it is a million times more fun than RTFM. Especially as we get rewarded for asking and learning. Nobody ever paid me to read a manual.

[Pretty sure that this beats the sneaky minimum. But what does @jongolson say?]

Aha, thanks for the link! Seems like the treshold is quite high, since neither you nor I got any CTP from your comment as far as I can see

The @ctptips account which is supposedly the one one giving out the tokens doesn't seem to have done so for quite a while... Broken, turned off, or there just weren't any comments with enough words? Who knows...

I still am. Every effing day. We really need one website where all the answers can be found. What is this tipping token, and how do I use it? What tokens can I stake, and why should I? What is a community, and which ones are safe to use (don't demand private info in order not to mute and/or downvote your post.) How do I create a wallet? What are good choices for storing my keys? What are the different front-ends, tribes and exchanges? And so on and on and on.

But now I realise that it's just part of the game. If you don't know something, just ask. Especially now we have Threads.

Sure, I can usually get an answer when I ask something. But then the next time I forget, I can't find that answer, and have to ask again. Quite inefficient, IMHO. And do we really want the blockchain to be filled up with "Hey, someone said !CTP, someone said !PIZZA, please tell me what this means!" when it would be so much easier for all of us if people from all the tribes, games and front-ends and whatever else got together and created the ultimate FAQ site?
