Silver gaming token from The Venetian, Las Vegas / Re-blog lottery for a chance to win 3 HSBI!

Over the years one of my favorite destinations has always been Las Vegas. There is just so much to do day or night even if you don't gamble. There are so many shows and attractions everywhere you look. I remember when I was younger staying in Vegas was not all that expensive, but times sure have changed. You can get into some of the less expensive places for around $100 US a night, but the high end places start at $400+ US a night. Getting way too rich for my blood!

On one trip I stayed at The Venetian Hotel which is one of the higher end places on the strip. I travelled with some friends and got we an incredible deal. It truly is an amazing place, spacious and luxurious rooms and very comfortable. The only problem is you don't want to eat there if you can avoid it because the restaurants were way overpriced! Even the casino was expensive, the minimum bet to play blackjack was $25. So great place to stay if you are stinking rich!

I picked up a souvenir token while I was there, but not in one of the gift shops (expensive.) I got it at a pawn shop off of the strip and the prices there were much more reasonable! It caught my eye because it was a millennium edition and also had the Doge's Palace on the reverse. The Doge's Palace is a beautiful building in Venice, Italy for those not familiar with it. I love to collect these silver tokens because they are most importantly silver. Plus some gain high premiums over time especially if they were very limited runs. Some of these tokens from the 1950's or 60's are pretty expensive. Take a look!

These are just so much fun to collect! Once you get hooked you start buying more and more... Most casino's produce their own varieties so there's almost no way you could ever collect them all. So next time you are in Las Vegas make sure to pick up a few of these to keep as souvenirs.

That is pretty cool. I didn't realize they sold tokens like that. The first time I went to Vegas it was pretty cool. The second time I didn't hate it, but the third time I wasn't as impressed as I had been. Way too many kids running around, everywhere you go all you smell is weed, and everything is so expensive like you said. I don't have problem with weed or kids honestly, but it just detracted from the experience. I would like to go back to see that new sphere they just built, but beyond that, I don't know if I would ever return. Maybe once I am a crypto millionaire I will feel differently!

Oh wow, that is cool! I can see how Vegas would be fun if you weren't living on a budget. I mean I had fun there, but it just sucks when you have to be worried about how you are going to cover the VISA bill when you get home.

We don't even have kids, but stuff is just so expensive these days. I do love all the food and entertainment options out there. We had some really great meals last time we visited.

Those are cool collection items! These days it’s slide a car in or out bills and get credit printed to cash in most spots. I miss putting coins in 🪙. I remember they still had coin slots in like 2007/2008 time in many places. That changed shortly later in most cases. Cheers friend!

Surviving, just been in a lot of pain in my upper back. They scanned for embolisms and heart attack but couldn't find the source. That's life I suppose...

Omg that must have been scary before they checked it. Are you ok in terms of they couldn't find anything or still worried? I never like it when I have something like my arm hurting or stabs in the chest that can be related to a heart attack, so I can imagine if it happens you are worried. Let's hope it's just muscles hurting, maybe tens because of the stress around your foot?

It was a miserable experience sadly. After the CT of my chest my left arm hurt like hell but I couldn't even get anyone t address it! I'm kind of used to chest pains that come and go probably secondary to the old pulmonary embolism is the thinking. Sometimes I feel like I have one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel....

I'm so sorry about that, what a shit show! I hope you recover.. make sure to take lots of vitamins if you're not already doing so. I've read they can work magic and we started to take high doses of vit c, d and zinc as well during pandemic, in summer I stop until fall comes (now) and then I start taking them again.. It's no cure for a blood cloth but maybe something to explore to give the immune system a boost it may need..

I've been better, not every day, but there are better days ... tomorrow trauma doc so I'm hoping to have physical therapy soon. But we'll see what he says. Sounds logic to me to at least prescribe me that.

Good! My boyfriend reminded me about a video on Twitter about a doc who said how to heal completely from these blood cloth problems and tried to find it back for me in our chats. So far we haven't found it but when we do, I will send it to you. Are you on discord btw?

I can imagine you feel that way, I can relate even with different issues, I'm like f this, problem after problem. I want to fix it but it's hard some days to even do anything. You know the feeling..

I'm off to the doc now so let's see what happens.

I've gone through all the resources I can find, I'm a currently disabled physician myself. I've talked with folks at Mayo and Cleveland Clinics, they all same time will tell... Having patience sucks... I'm not currently using discord much since it's not logged into this account and they want to verify using an old phone number I no longer had... long story. PeadD does have secure DM now which is an option.
