As some might have seen on my snap, I went a few days ago into a LEGO Star Wars event and it was a blast!
This Anakin Podracer made me recall the old times I used to play in the 2000's a PC game (called Star Wars Episode I: Racer) with some old close friends... I recall having so much fun doing speed records and jump stunts shenanigans. Seeing this again just made my day.
Yes, the Death Star was there too!
Made me instantaneously recall the https://moon.hive.pizza game.
But there was more, from huge cut-off models of the Star Destroyer...
Lots and lots of real scale models for you to feel compared against. Example of Lea with R2-D2 (she'so tinny!).

Obviously, there were lots of places where you could just build your own LEGO's and even drop your art into the expository place, for anyone to see your stuff. Unsure how many they keep, but judging from what I have dug, they keep the "best ones" and recycle a couple.
At the end of the journey, they have some AR (augmented reality) with some devices that you can glue into the handle of a lightsaber that you can build yourself, and then you can enjoy some 1v1 fights and take some pictures while seeing yourself.
Mine is there too!!! See if you can guess which one... I have a surprise in the form of #ATX (from my own pocket) for the ones that guessed right. 🧐 ATX Updates 😯😲🤯😱
Some of you might have already been aware of the new drop of 5 million ATX on the ATX:SWAP.HIVE pool. That was as planned since the beginning, but NOT planned at all and indeed seen by me as a good surprise was what @centtoken did by adding another distribution... So, thank you for adding this to the ATX:CENT pool!
And because of the almost 1500 ATX added to the distribution without even asking me for anything, I felt like appreciating that gesture and putting my own share from my own pocket too, in order to attract more liquidity to the pool, hopefully. And if you are one of them, any amount is welcome... as always, I appreciate the support, guys!
Fearlessly not being afraid to fail, I know I haven't been doing much lately around this. It has been low-level maintenance. But I haven't changed anything either, degraded or gone away. Nor will I, for as long as I can. You know me; I am here because I want 😀, not because I need.
Having said that... this surprised me... for the positive, obviously, but I really didn't think it would get this far. And yes, I was not thinking it would get very bad too, but this is on the upper side of what I though/designed the pool to be. So, that's an interesting positive outcome from my own observation.
For all that matters, I hope to never cause any problems with all of this, given I don't see myself here in terms of deliverables. But what matters is what people see, verify and believe, and that really makes me super happy because it's part of the vision of why I created this project. To teach in my own image/opinion, allow people to support me, and have a tool I can use for demonstrations while keeping people motivated to learn.
I have also aimed for a design of pool/rewards that would discourage "bad actors" taking advantage. This was because I knew that if I did not do that, the consequences would be inevitable. Plus, I would never feel comfortable inviting people to do or try something when I would feel they could be robbed, while I couldn't avoid or explain it beforehand.
Anyhow, this is a THANK you for all your support. After realising that it was not actually me who made this go this far, but instead all of you, and given the really bad crypto times, that really made me think that it's people that matter. Not so much the economy. When you believe in people, being whatever project it is, things really become different.
This is sort of the main reason I like to be around projects here on Hive. Because I want to believe in people. They are the value of this chain!

🎲🎮🕹️ GAMES Games GAAAMMMESS!!
OMG, I have been completely absorbed by the SLOTH stuff... It's @sloth.buzz fault, because of how SLOTHy movement the project advances... 🤣
Besides all the initial HIVE short-term rewards hype (which was what triggered me), I really didn't think I could still be playing it, to be honest (it's quite demanding in terms of time, but also quite addictive). It's not clearly because of the amount of rewards on HIVE (yet), given the amounts of reinvestment needed to play the game in "Whale mode". But I think at this point it's proving something I can't even deny... people can get hooked on it, and sometimes it's not just because of a single round; it's more than that.
On top of that, there is a slightly missed economy behind the scenes, driven by the SLOTHBUZZ token, required for you to protect yourself in the game for 8 hours max (and then it has a cooldown period before you can use it again). The tag #slothbuzz on main posts will enable staked SLOTHBUZZ to curate those enabled tag posts. This post is an example.
I also said somewhere this round it would get above 400 HIVE on the leaderboard, but it might actually get above 500 given we are this far ahead already.
NOTE: There is a bug in how many rewards are actually distributed, so if that is not yet solved, the numbers to be distributed below are going to be less than what is shown at the end of the round. Either way, the numbers are gradually rising.
People playing this game should already understand my stance, and before you start firing up, let me explain my point of view.
On games where human behaviour is THE competitive driving factor of fun, if bots or multi-accounts are permitted tools that can reduce the amount of excitement in the game, then I am against it. Multi-account is probably the hard one here, given the nature of blockchain; verifying such is very, very tricky, but bots can be "easily" avoided. Even if you make "accusations" or try to drive whatever your opinion is, it's always something hard to prove or convince people around you of the real truth no one might ever find out about.
And don't take this as a criticism of this game! This problem exists on ANY blockchain games, whether on Hive or not. It's a problem that can only be balanced by decentralisation of incentives and decentivizing the wrong things.
Who shall I attack next? And can you even tell how much fun we are having with the names? :D
Either way, the important aspect of supporting a game, besides protecting the good sides of it, is the attitude players have while playing it, contributing to it (if the case) and sharing it around the right way.
I am not going to comment on any other games this time, but I am going to switch to other games over the next month and let you know in my next post.

I drank a few this weekend, because of F1, because of the fricking vase (warning, sensitive content), and because of realising tomorrow is Monday! LOL
I have also found a new UI made by @sm-silva called Nebulosa.
After this #HPUD I will be targeting roughly another 8-9k HIVE needed to be powered up, in order to reach my target of 130k HP before the end of the year. Given the prices have been moving around more than usual (finnalllyyy!!), I might take action sooner rather than later, before we approach the end of the year.
And finally, yes, I realised I missed @hivefest and the things that stay at HiveFest... that's how it works. If you want to be there, you go there! As simple as that...

Guessing aside, I've only been once to a Lego event (I even wrote a post here on Hive about that) and it was very cool: seeing what can be built with those little bricks and some immagination it's wondeful. As a Star Wars fan I'd love to see one about SW, it would be so cool!

What a shame that MEME's liquidity is so scarce. I'm trying to buy some NFT and the price on Hive matters a lot to me. So far I've bought some ATX.
I had to fight some things... and moved it all to stake. I will get you some from an upvote (it does not upvote on Hive, just on MEME). It's not going to be on time for this one, but maybe for the next one.

I will try to add some more MEME from now on. I think I have done what I could to fix some things. Unfortunately, I can't do all the work.
There's no rush either. It was just an observation. I think the liquidity issue affects all of Hive Engine in general. It may improve in a future bull market.
Yeah, I can't help (or many others) with many. And the main problem is that for liquidity to be attracted, volume has to exist.
I have been slowly learning how to do this "reasonably" at low cost (for me), and this is part of the inherent technicality of how I design the concept of the pool rewards.
But I still rely only on people's feedback to understand where to go next. For example, would you choose another token to swap for MEME that is currently not part of the current MEME pool pairs? And if so (you don't need to say which one if you don't want to), how much would you be willing to participate with liquidity?
And when the answers to these things are "very little" then there is no point for creating such pair right?
This is sort of why I have stopped creating more pairs, as my initial intention was to do something similar to what the CENT token is doing, but just for Hive games tokens. And then I got the taste of it when the guy from the CCD token ditched the entire project without even telling the community. Got me really pissed, to be honest, and I have given him a lot of support.
So, for now, unless there are great compelling reasons to create a new pool, I am probably going to avoid, and instead support the ones that I see potential in, like the CENT/HBD pool for me could be a great driver, because people can do arbitrage with between HBD and HIVE. And yes, I know they can do with CENT token too, but having two pairs adds another path for arbitrage.
Anyhow, everything at its !SLOTH way :D
I am going to add every week a bit more into the SWAP.HIVE/MEME pool, and slowly get back to a reasonable value to support the NFTs.
Makes sense, no volume = no point in more pairs. Sorry about the CCD thing, that sucks, especially after all the support you gave.
I'd put in a little liquidity on a pool with real activity, nothing huge since I'm still learning, but CENT/HBD sounds like a good one to back.

3rd row, the first one on the left. Might be the light sabre you built? Great lego star wars event! The death star looked huge, like the ATX pool. I am currently watching Andor on Disney. There is so many Stars wars spin offs I have not seen.
The Death Star was at least 1.5 meters wide, and it was rotating... but only 1/3 of it had exposed interior, still, very nice! I would have one at home, but wife would complain LLOLOLL...
Andor is very nice. I have watched almost everything Star Wars type... kind of a fanatic for these, but not a crazy one.
The cartoons are also very cool too... I think there are a few new episodes I need to start watching again, but I'll probably leave them for Christmas time.

Hahaha, yeah, I was working on my Splinterlands post and just copy-pasted. I always see you mentioning games, but you've never mentioned Splinterlands—have you played it?
I have... I have a quite old deck... but I've played for a couple of years. Even been in the last league for a moment... but then, just had other priorities. For me, the effort to help other ventures is more valuable for Hive, because Splinterlands is an established venture. They know what they are doing, and my value towards them is much less when compared with other newer projects.
So, basically, I'm trying to push more good projects and with this I am not saying Splinterlands should not get my support, its just I am only 1, and so, helping who I think I can help, becomes that priority.

I am usually a player who prefers speed and nimbleness, so I go with very lightweight designs, portable and easy on my small hands (NOT TINY, SMALL!!! 🤣)...
Funny enough, after this one that I dropped on the expositor, I made another one that is not in the picture, but it had some of the "colours" everyone got excited about on the "orange" one, but that one was not orange either (I don't like orange that much, but either way, I would consider this one more brown than orange, which I don't like too).
Anyhow, this was fun, but I confess, next time I will make your lives easier, given the amount of different responses was pretty all over the place. Sorry about that...
I just assumed it was easy enough... but I guess some people on phones might not be as easy, so next time I will do something you can choose from on both types of platforms.
