The only reason why the LOLZ bot is told not to fulfill the !LOLZ tipping command on a comment when there are more than two tipping commands on the comment is simply to avoid "walls of tips" where a single comment may have even 10 tipping commands (either valid or not). 🤓

Some users are either happy with or don't mind a lot of tipping commands on a single comment, while some think of them as "spam". 🤔 !wine

The fact that some Hive users think of Hive tipping token comments as "spam" made certain operators of Hive tipping tokens change how their tipping bots inform the recipients and tippers of their tokens. 🤓

  • PIZZA bot publishes only one comment under the original post on the first successful PIZZA tip made on the post's comment section, then simply edits the comment for every subsequent successful PIZZA tip
  • WINEX bot publishes comments only under its own posts and tagging both the tipper and the recipient of the token
  • CTP bot (while it was still working) not publishing any comment at all (though the recipient of a CTP tip will still get notified using the #Ecency frontend)

The new #Ecency frontend update replaces all tipping bot comments with small circular icons, allowing users to see human replies quickly and preventing users from accidentally replying to tipping bot comments. 😎 !PIZZA

However, I am yet to see if human comments using bot accounts will also be hidden, such as when @crrdlx decides to comment using the @luvshares account. 😅 !WEED

I said "tipping bot comments" themselves, not the notifications produced by the tipping bots whenever they make comments. 😅

As an example, you will see my tips !LOLZ and !LUV showing up as small circular icons just below the commenting form. 🤓

#Ecency users can still "request Boosting" for their posts (or long comments), which requires them to drop their link on Ecency's curation channel on #Discord instead of spending Ecency Points right on the Ecency frontend. 🤓
