We have been promising to upgrade LOLZ Defi to enable you to farm LOLZ tokens by delegating Hive Power (HP) in addition to Hive tokens for some time now.

Well we are excited to announce we have completed our scripts and testing and you can now farm LOLZ tokens by delegating your Hive Power to the LOLZ Project.

We will use that HP to power our funny little @lolzbot and to curate our users. So by delegating to us, not only are you earning a nice reward, but you are also helping to support our users and the communities we are curating in.

Earn 10% APR On HIVE Power Delegations

With a 10% annual percentage rate (APR) we are offering one of the highest returns on HP delegations on the blockchain. In addition, LOLZ farming rewards are paid daily directly to your Hive Engine wallet. Save them to level up and be able to use the !LOLZ command and earn dividends, or sell them.

Not sure how that compares to your curation earnings? You can check your curation APR on HiveStats, just don't be surprised that our 10% APR reward rate is a fair bit higher than you are getting from your curation efforts.

Where to Delegate To

Our main need for HP is to power @lolzbot. It takes a lot of HP to share jokes and crypto all day long.

But maybe you want to support the community in your favorite tribe?

That is why we have made it possible to delegate to any of our tribal curation bots as well. For example, if you want to support users in the Cine community you could delegate some HP to the @lolz.cine curation bot. Or if you love to share jokes and memes you may want to delegate to @lolz.meme.

Which ever accounts you delegate to, you will earn LOLZ tokens equivalent to a 10% APR on your delegated HP - so the choice is up to you.

By delegating ALIVE tokens to @lolz.alive and CTP tokens to @lolz.ctp, you get paid !LOLZ tokens daily based on how much you have delegated, although I haven't seen how much APR is to be paid for Hive Engine staked tokens delegated to the respective LOLZ bot accounts. 🤓 !CTP

You can delegate Resource Credits using the #PeakD wallet page at https://peakd.com/@svanbo/wallet. 🤓 Just click the dropdown arrow beside the DELEGATE button. 😏

As long as you keep your maximum RC above 200M (which is roughly equivalent to the RC of 200 Hive Power), you won't run out of RC for posting, commenting, and voting. 🤓

You cannot change the author reward payout ratio of your posts (or comments) after publishing no matter what Hive frontend you use, because it is already fixed on the Hive blockchain. 🤓

Don't forget that you can delegate Resource Credits to the @youarealive account on top of the 100 Hive Power you have already delegated to it using the guide I provided. 🤓 That way, you can earn from your RC instead of it sitting at 100% without any benefit on your Hive account. 😏

I didn't find that delegate button and I'm afraid that I've got a wrong idea about rC. i thought this is Vote Power, but since cote power is in % and you speak about "200M" it seems to be something else?...
About the 100% which I'd be sitting up, I think you do refer to vote power. Which I won't get to 100% any more since my recent post about automatic voting.... !PIZZA !CTP

I've been looking into this subject again, and I've been delegating 100 B in RC to @youarealive. What I still don't understand very well what would be the difference if I had been adding an extra 100 HP?... Now with delegating RC, I don't get sustracted HP? Resource Credits are used whenever you broadcast anything (post, comment, vote, custom JSON, etc.) on the Hive blockchain. 🤓

Since the #YouAreAlive account is a bot and performs a huge amount of automated tasks (such as sending ALIVE tips), it needs a lot of RC to function properly. 😏

There is no delay when undelegating Resource Credits, but they will come back to you as "spent" where you have to wait 5 days for the withdrawn RC to be fully regenerated. 🤓 !LUV !CTP

What you said is accurate, although I should clarify that the 5 days waiting period for your Resource Credits to regenerate is just a rough estimate, since it is affected by other factors (such as how often you use your Hive account, how much RC you have before the undelegation, and how much RC you have undelegated). 🤓😏 !LUV

Let me give an example while avoiding lots of Math. 😅 If you have 300M RC and is full (300M out of 300M RC) and you just withdrew a delegation of 100M RC, you will notice that your max RC becomes 400M, but then its percentage is just about 75% (300M out of 400M RC). 🤓 In that case, you would have to wait only about 1.25 days for your RC to recover (unless you do something on your Hive account that significantly changes your RC or max RC). 😏 !CTP

* 1M RC is equivalent to approximately the RC given by 1 Hive Power.

It's okay if you sell !LUV tokens in excess of 750. 🤗 You need to swap LUV to SWAP.HIVE first before being able to exchange it with other tokens (#HiveEngine tipping tokens such as !PIZZA and !CTP in this case), which means that you need to make two transactions with 0.25% swapping fee each. 🤓

I don't think they would (and should) make the criteria public, or else people would intentionally use certain keywords and/or tags (for a higher chance) to trigger automatic LOLZ bot curation. 🤓 Maybe there is also a human curator that sometimes operates the LOLZ curation accounts and selects comments (and posts) to upvote. 😏
