🚨🧨💥 Engagement is Required ❗❗

Quite a 😎 to reach this milestone for me!

I always wanted to reach some sort of a number that would at least remind me of this journey. In the beginning of the year I was actually aiming way higher (100k HP) and didn't really had an idea how the hell I was going to get there. Was mostly an aspiration... and a target I will eventually reach.

But I had good intentions and given the time (that I never had), would allow me to create something I had in mind for a very long time, and that would cement the growth needed to reach the 100k.

Didn't had the time due to work and family reasons, and then it turned out later that this year it would be impossible for me anyway. I did at least reach 75k mid year, so not that bad. Maybe I can get to 80k by the end of the year with almost no effort.

But the cool one is BEE... mostly from the witness node and reserved for any kind of improvements I need to procure for extra requirements or any new ventures along the space. So far it didn't get used. Initially I was planning on upgrading my platform but meantime tech-mess happened and I know a bit of what's coming, so for now, that's what it is.

By the end of this post curation, I will have 10k BEE and 75k HIVE staked... yes, not exactly at the time I posted this but I found it interesting the argument of saying "it will happen sometime within the post curation". For now is the estimated (and planned) end result, that by the way will happen, because I will make sure of it 🧐 - think of it as a little extra effort.

Overall, all this talk to kind of lure you to the thought that every month I am here not just to do the giveaway, but also to help you recall that it is important to celebrate and acknowledge milestones and efforts, hopefully 🤞 in a insightful way. There you go, I did it! 😜

😍 Games 🤦‍♂️

It's obvious I know... but I like to be myself and add a little of a personal touch when I can. Repeating others becomes boring and is not always helpful, although its quite hard to keep creative nowadays.

There's so much out there that eventually your idea is already not new. Although I like to keep thinking that with the right amount of though, you can always put a twist on it, and have some fun while still conveying a message. That's what I try at least.

Last weekend I had quite some fun with the new #pvp from @cryptoshots.nft game, and I believe today (posting day) there was another event. Feel free to dig into it... and don't miss the next one like I did today!

Terracore is also going very nuts with the introduction of more uses cases for the "sink" of the FLUX token and the ability to create NFTs from aggregation of found relics in quests.

I have been missing out a bit of the updates lately... too many games? yeah... most likely! It has been a shift constantly... for example, on Golem Overlord, the release of NFT backgrounds will mark another evolution of the game, as it did for Terracore.

How bad ass does that NFT background look, right? And the important idea of NFTs is also adding changes to the game itself, such as the increased claiming of SHARD. Can't wait for tomorrow, which is when we can start buying some more.

On the RisingStar I have been missing out the introduction of raves, because I am too focused on getting the last 2 sets of NFTs I need...

The problem with this strategy was that half way, STARPRO went crazy high (currently we are on ~30 HIVE for 1 STARPRO) and looks like not giving up. End result, all my STARBITS go the sinking hole just to get STARPRO.

Once that's out of the way, I am going to blend NFTs to get 4x of these (FTB6 - The Risen) below, totaling 100k new fans and skill, plus 2.4k luck and 1.4k 🤑.

Four cards will hold more than 10% of my current fans. That was my 🤦‍♂️ strategy! ...either way, they are also very rare, so watch it out if you are craving for one, but don't have the chance to wait. In the future these can be even more expensive... assuming STARPRO keeps up the trend.



The last game that I have been doing some work is dCrops, where I am almost cooking my first dish, and that path progression alone has been incredibly hard, because to get almost "free" resources after opening all my cards was not a very bright idea. On the other hand, I have been accumulating enough products and later on I know I will recover. Just need to buy some more packs.

I though that the whole process was going to be faster, but that's ok it went that way, otherwise others would be doing the same.

My next build, might be the Stove and once that's achieved, I can start cooking some dishes...

Might be that actually they can be exposed... at least you can download them once you own them. Which is nice if you wanna post about them.

I feel tempted giving a free account to someone. The game is getting pretty nice and regaining its !ALIVE thing, and to be honest the more you play it, the lower maintenance than Terracore if regular strategy is important.

Anyhow, it's all a question of !PIZZA and !BEER

I think both games have their merits, but having a lower mainteneance is surely a good and very relevant aspect, as I like a lot games where you don't have to login in too many times a day...

Btw, have you already tried Serfdom & Sorcery? As a Hive Game lover maybe you could be interested in it :)

The good thing about this game is that it's already enable on different Discord servers... so if you are lucky you might have it available on a server you are already in! I know that you can surely play it on the following servers: Psyberx, PIMP, Bro and The Castle (The Alliance), but there could be definetly more I'm not aware of :)

Looking at a hive node, i have some Linux skills, so I thought I might give it a try.

A good place to start: https://developers.hive.io/quickstart/#quickstart-hive-full-nodes

But if you wanna go deeper, just clone the latest release and built it yourself: https://gitlab.syncad.com/hive/hive/-/releases

For the basic witness node (if that's what you are looking for), something line 2 cores work (4 might be best), and then 32GB RAM, and 1TB SSD should work.

If you are looking for a full node thing, then CPU jumps a lot more and also memory might be at least double. Storage I recommend NVMe and at least a few TBs... and use ZFS for the filesystem as it can do some compression on the fly to save space.

If you had to find a title for this, what would be the couple things that would come to your mind?

That desire to write about some stuff that just comes off the chest, being just comments on things one sees/experiences or simple rambling about stuff in life. It needs the right time for it to come out... and usually it can't be done in a step by step way, it needs to come in batches... otherwise it looses all that light of thought.

75K HP is a great goal and I wish you to reach 100k HP as soon as possible.
In the next HPUD I should exceed 40K HP but I still have a long way to go to reach my next goal

Aqui a coisa anda nos 10-15 graus... as vezes vai aos 5 mas raramente em Wellington. Na ilha sul sim... vai aos <0 ... e acho que nas semanas que vem está estimado haver bastante neve.

Estou a tentar ir a Portugal em meados de setembro/outubro este ano... mas a coisa tá dificil... quando/se tiver confirmações vou fazer um post para o pessoal saber.

Se/quando aí for, vou andar a tentar visitar pessoal com certeza!

Games on HIVE have such huge potential because of the low cost of maintenance compared with other server based games. And because it automatically includes the entire world, the advantages are really interesting.

I never though one day would be this far to be honest. But when the big fork happened, I said, "Damn... I am gonna pull off this one right now!" - and if I had reacted faster, it would be even better, because once people started to move, the price of HIVE started increasing.

I still remember when I started all this many years ago... and I think I had like 350$ after a month when the prices were still high enough. At the time probably just 300 or 500 tokens. With today prices it would be like 100$... so you can see how much did it change when the fork happened.

Anyhow, its nice to be around and !ALIVE sometimes... in the past I had more time for almost everything.
